Getting Ready for the Reserve Bank of Australia Changes 

From 1 October 2026, changes introduced by the Reserve Bank of Australia will affect how businesses can apply and communicate fees associated with card payments.

To support these changes, we’re updating the online booking journey to provide guests with greater visibility of potential booking fees from the beginning.

Where additional booking fees may apply within the booking journey, guests will see a message advising them of this upfront.

This provides guests with greater transparency around potential fees earlier in their booking journey.

A Simpler, More Secure Way to Pay – Rolling Out Now

We’re rolling out a new, secure payment experience for guests completing online bookings.

When it’s time to pay, guests will be securely directed to a dedicated payment page to enter their card details and complete payment before returning to your website for their booking confirmation.

The new payment experience is being introduced progressively, and we’ll contact you directly before it goes live for your account, so you’ll know when to expect the change.

Get More Insight from Every Miscellaneous Sale in Lite

Bookeasy Lite users can now capture additional guest information when processing a POS Miscellaneous Sale.

A new guest details pop-up allows staff to capture guest and contact details, including country of origin, as part of the sale.

This information will flow through to reporting, giving you more information about your customers and where they are visiting from.
