Improvements
STP Disbursement Report
- Updated Kovena embedded Disbursement and Transaction report to use the latest Kovena templates, stylesheets, and script endpoints. Applied custom CSS overrides for Bookeasy theme compatibility, updated script configuration for new endpoints, and ensured full report functionality (search, download, view details/logs) while preserving Kovena’s data and Layout control
- Enhanced booking validation to correctly distinguish between invalid vehicle details and external Motorweb Service outages with clearer user messaging. Updated verification now includes car color
- Applied consistent UX improvements to all consoles, including clearer labels, refined error messaging, enlarged input fields and unified styling
POS
- Renamed database columns and corresponding model properties to clarify Stock Location and Booking Location mappings in the Register table.
General Fixes and Optimisations
Letters
- Resolved an issue where customised cancellation letters were not sent when a booking status was changed to Cancelled, despite correct letter configuration and status conditions.
- Resolved issues caused by excessively large letters due to whitespace and repeated apostrophe doubling. Cleaned existing bloated letter data using SQL scripts, removed unnecessary apostrophe escaping in letter save logic, fixed null handling and runtime errors in LettersModel, and improved letter saving to prevent future database bloat and audit queue failures
POS
- Fixed an error on the POS Settings page that occurred during initial setup when saving, caused by a missing value. Ensures successful POS configuration for new VC consoles.
