Improvements


Authentication & MFA Stability

Updates to the Bookeasy MFA System so that MFA validation checks are performed on additional screens, not just on the main URLs. 


Point of Sale (POS)

  • POS Retail “Add to Itinerary” payments are now included in the Detailed Payment Breakdown Report. 

  • POS activity is now retained based on changes made and saved. 

  • Can now close sales with cash payments even when the total ends in 5c, resolving the previous -$0.05 balance issue. 


Internal Vouchers

Enhancements and fixes have been implemented for the Promotions module:

  • The Promotions Code tab is now hidden in the wizard for users without the Internal Promotion Vouchers (123) module.

  • Added filters for promotion codes, organized into Standard and Advanced sections for a cleaner interface.

  • Introduced pagination options (500 and 1000 items per page) to improve performance for users with many codes.

  • Added sorting for promotion codes and fixed the sorting issue in promotions.

  • Restricted voucher code characters to letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores.

  • Updated field instructions and uniqueness rules for better clarity.

  • Added the ability to download all existing codes as a CSV file.

  • Introduced functionality to edit individual vouchers (email, first name, last name, status).

  • Added the ability to delete unused vouchers, based on the last redeemed date, ensuring only valid vouchers remain active.


General Fixes and Optimisations


Payment Location

  • Payment location is no longer defaulting to “Online” when users edit the payment description. 

  • Payment location is now mandatory when adding POS or Itinerary payments to maintain accurate reporting. 


Operator List

  • Booking site is now returning the specific operator when filtered based on attributes. 


Booking

  • Added more logging to the checkout page and implemented additional checks in the shopping cart when adding to itineraries. 

Reporting

  • The discrepancy between retail totals shown in Bookeasy have been investigated and corrected.

  • The Detailed Breakdown Report issue, which showed incomplete and inaccurate data has been identified and corrected. 

  • The variance between the guest console and staff console balances has been corrected.


Affiliate Console

  • The issue has been resolved by updating the screen and user view to display all rate types simultaneously, with the full names of each rate type now visible to users.
