What's New?!

New "Detailed Payment Breakdown" Report

Bookeasy's legacy Payments 'By Operator' report has been upgraded!  It is now called the "Detailed Payment Breakdown" and can be found in your Bookeasy Staff Console's left menu at Financials > Detailed Payment Breakdown.  The purpose of the report is to provide a detailed breakdown of the allocation of all payments made and/or reconciled in Bookeasy.  It includes a plethora of filter options and the following 4 view types:

  1. Detailed Breakdown
  2. Operator Summary
  3. Product Summary
  4. Category Summary

Help documentation regarding this new report can be found here.

Tour Manager's Operator Booking Engine

Tour Manager's Booking Button has now been replaced by the new and improved Operator Booking Engine. Currently implemented legacy booking buttons will be automatically redirected, unless they have been embedded, in which case, some work will be required to ensure this now directs to the new booking engine.

Automatic Availability Close Out Solution for National Parks

Both Parks Victoria and South Australia’s Department for Environment and Water each have their own restrictions regarding how far out in the future they can offer their parks for sale to the general public.

Since Bookeasy automatically provides availability and rates for a 2 year period, up until now our national parks have been required to devote resources in order to manually close out and manage the availability for each of their parks.

Bookeasy has solved this logistical task by creating new modules to help automate the process for both Parks Victoria and South Australia’s Department for Environment and Water.

  • For Parks Victoria
Parks Victoria’s new module will run a daily script to close out availability for all of their parks, from and including 730 days from the date it runs (2 years). This means that Parks Victoria will no longer need to manually close out each day that rolls over and falls within Bookeasy’s 2 year bookable period.

  • For South Australia’s Department for Environment and Water
South Australia’s Department for Environment and Water’s new module will run a daily script to close out availability for all of their parks, from and including 365 days from the date it runs (1 year).  When each day rolls over and the 366th day falls within this 1 year period, Bookeasy will also automatically open up availability for the 365th day.  This means that South Australia’s Department for Environment and Water will no longer need to manually close/open days that fall outside their 1 year sale period..

Improvements

'Show Eftpos Receipt by Default' option for Point of Sale (POS) Register Setup

When setting up or editing an existing POS Register, a new field has been created that when selected, shows a receipt by default for Eftpos sales. This saves the user the step of clicking 'Yes' on the 'Would you like to show the receipt' popup

Ongoing Report Builder Enhancements

Report Builder now sets the 'IncludeNonLinkedOperators" filter to False by default, to ensure that only a Visitor Centre's linked operators appear in Report Results, unless otherwise specified using the Filters tab

Payment History PDF download

The PDF Download available via the 'Payment History' screen now reflects the on-screen results in their entirety. For further information regarding the Payment History area of Bookeasy, click here.

Payment Summary Breakdown Refinements

Improvements have been made to the South Australia Department for Environment and Water’s custom Payment Summary Breakdown report.  This report now only includes eWay gateway payments as well as values for when a payment is reallocated due to amendments or cancellations. When the XML is sent, only payments made after 5pm the previous day will be included to align with Bank Statement settlement.

Affiliate Console and Reseller Refinements
Improvements have been made to replicate the affiliate/reseller functionality for destination partners such as WA Holiday Guide, so that it can be used with the new QLD Holiday Guide!

Bug Fixes
