New Functionality:
MFA - Multi Factor Authentication
Stage 3 MFA has now been released to all users.
Booking Centres will no longer be able to change passwords for operators. All operators will be responsible for password resets via the Manage Account functionality in their dashboard.
In addition, the Forget Password link is fully functional for all operator accounts and staff access.
Usernames are unable to be edited, including by Bookeasy Support staff
Upgraded Functionality:
Affiliate Consoles Hybrid Booking Gadget
A new hybrid booking gadget has been released for all affiliate consoles attached to Bookeasy consoles.
The improved gadget, in addition to receiving a major facelift, includes additional filtering functionality, plus a map view.
When booking a Room Manager client, the gadget also allows selection of room/unit numbers, if the functionality is enabled within the operator console.
Report Builder - New BookingNights table
A new table BookingNights has been added to the Report Builder.
Fields linked to this table include DayofWeek, StayDate, NightCostEstimate. This allow extra levels of reporting, including showing date based on a Stay Date, rather than Arrival/Departure.
If a configurable modification policy is edited/added in a console, the guest must agree to the change in terms & conditions when modifying a booking online.
POS - Point of Sale Payment Screens
There is a slight tweak to the payment page within POS, removing the Quick Checkout functionality.
This is a prelude to an exciting project where Bookeasy will soon have integrated eftpos terminals, which connects with travel bookings, plus POS.
Bug Fixes:
Onboarding Widget not showing for Tour Operators - STP [21365]
Resolved an issue where the onboarding widget for Secure Travel Payments was not loading for tour operators.
