Improvements:


BOOKING FEES FOR PACKAGES, CAR HIRE & ADD OTHER BOOKING [#13836]
You can now setup and apply unique booking fees for your Packages, Car Hire bookings and bookings processed via the "Add Other Booking" method in your Bookeasy Staff Console.


The fees can be setup as a dollar value and/or percentage of the product's booking value, and set to apply for bookings made via your Bookeasy Staff Console and/or your website (with the exception of the "Add Other Booking" fee, which is to be used for Bookeasy Staff Console bookings only).


TOUR & ACTIVITY CUSTOM RATE TYPE ENHANCEMENTS 
We've been hard at work for the past few months developing enhancements for centre staff that will allow full compatibility to sell the custom rates types provided by tour and activity suppliers via our FareHarbor and Rezdy API partner connections.


We're at the tail end of development with this release seeing some of the final stages deployed to production, allowing us to commence piloting the migration of activity supplier rate types.


Once completed, Bookeasy will no longer need to shoehorn an activity supplier's custom rate types into standard "Adult, Child, Family" pax types. Bookeasy will instead allow these suppliers to provide these to you as intended so you can sell them as supplied, resulting in increased sales opportunities for partner connected products that aren't currently sellable via Bookeasy. 


For example, if you have a supplier that offers a Boat Hire product with rate options such as "4 Hour Private Boat Hire" or "Full Day Private Boat Hire", you'll be able to select quantities of these custom types and sell them just as the activity supplier intended.


This is all part and parcel of Bookeasy's commitment in providing you the best bookable product available, and will be a staged rollout per operator and partner API connection as we finalise development. Stay tuned for more information as we rollout this feature in the coming weeks!


CHECK AVAILABILITY CALENDAR PERFORMANCE BOOST [#14090]
The speed of which the availability calendar loads in the Bookeasy Staff Console at https://www.bookeasy.com.au/console/availabilitycalendar.aspx has been drastically improved. Calendars that previously took greater than 20-30 seconds to load now load in a few seconds.


IMPROVED beGADGET MESSAGING WHEN ITEMS BECOME UNAVAILABLE [#14002]
We've improved the generic messaging the beGadgets provide in the event an item becomes unavailable whilst adding it to the cart. This generally occurs when multiple customers attempt to add the final available item to the cart at the same time. Prior to the change the beGadgets API would provide a generic, uninformative message. This has now been updated to state "Sorry, but the product you are attempting to book is no longer available. Please adjust your dates and try again."


'SELECT ALL' OPTION FOR ROOM & TOUR MANAGER PAYMENT RECONCILIATION [#13993]
Room and Tour Manager operators now have the option to select all transactions en masse when reconciling their payments.



Bug Fixes:

Bookeasy Distribution Network Tours & Activities Search [#14084 & #14085]
Resolved an issue that displayed duplicate tour product and prevented product availability from displaying on the Bookeasy Distribution Network search for tours and activities.


Disabling Bookeasy Tour Types [#14016]
Resolved an issue that prevented Tour Types from being disabled via the Bookeasy Staff Console.


Operator Emails When Emails Deactivated [#14017]
Resolved an issue where emails were still being sent to operators when edits were made, even if emails on the itinerary were deactivated.


Custom Room & Tour Manager Letters for Affiliate Bookings [#13674]
Resolved a bug that prevented Room & Tour Manager letters from being sent for Affiliate bookings, when the letters were setup to auto-send in the event of a confirmed booking.


Room & Tour Manager Payments for Direct Connect Bookings [#13850]
Resolved an issue that prevented Room & Tour Manager itineraries from displaying the correct balance paid and owing, when payments were processed in Room or Tour Manager by operators for bookings made from destination partners using Bookeasy's Direct Connect payment method.
