This guide will explain how to setup the operator pages for your Agent booking Engine (ABE), this will include the information that displays on the page and the default parameters.

These parameters apply to a specific tourism operator’s page. The default settings will apply when a customer bypasses the search results page and lands directly on an operator’s page (e.g. if they land on an operator’s page directly from a Google search).


Step One - From the Agent Booking Engine settings menu item, click the Operator Gadget Settings tab, we have outlined the parameters today.


Operator Page Display Options

  • Image Gallery - Ticking the option means the image gallery will be displayed
  • About Section - Ticking the option means the about section will be displayed
  • Facilities - Ticking the option means the facilities list will will be displayed
  • Map - Ticking the option means the map will be displayed
  • Cancellation Policy - Ticking the option means the cancellation policy will be displayed


Defaults Set-up

  • Default Nights - The number selected will be the number of nights the gadget shows by default
  • Default Adults - The number selected will be the number of nights the gadget shows by default
  • Default Children - The number selected will be the number of children the gadget shows by default, we recommend setting this as 0
  • Display Unavailable Accom - If selected as yes, operators who do not have availability or meet the min night requirements will still show. If set as no only available operators will be displayed.
  • Display Unavailable Tour Products -  If selected as yes, operators who do not have availability will show the next available date. If set as no only available operators will be displayed.
  • Display unavailable Event Products - f selected as yes, operators who do not have availability will show the next available date. If set as no only available operators will be displayed.
